AI Visibility Readiness Checklist (DUCR)

How to use: check each item for your top service page and your top traffic post. Fix from top to bottom.

Scoring: 1 point per check. 18-20 = strong foundation. 14-17 = fix weak layer. 13 or less = structured upgrade needed.

1. Discoverable

  • Key service pages return 200 OK and are not blocked by robots, login, or paywall.
  • Pages are indexable and canonical points to the right URL.
  • Each core service page is reachable in three clicks and has contextual internal links.
  • Duplicate or near-duplicate URLs are consolidated with redirects or canonicals.
  • Search Console shows core service pages indexed and stable.

2. Understandable

  • One page owns each core service intent.
  • Service naming is consistent across navigation, titles, H1s, and internal links.
  • The first screen makes the service obvious: what it is, who it is for, and the next step.
  • Support pages have defined roles and link back to the owner page.
  • Business details and service coverage are consistent across the site.

3. Citable

  • Service pages include answer blocks: definition, process, fit, and non-fit.
  • Pricing factors and timeline factors are stated.
  • Proof blocks exist with context: what changed, timeframe, and scope.
  • Headings are scannable and key answers live in clearly titled sections.
  • FAQs are limited and non-duplicative.

4. Routable

  • Top traffic posts include routes: early link to the owner service page and an end routing module.
  • The service page has one primary CTA and the contact path is frictionless on mobile.
  • Proof sections link to inquiry so visitors do not hit dead ends.
  • Analytics tracks lead events and can show utm_source=chatgpt.com when it occurs.
  • Search Console monitoring focuses on right-page ownership for commercial intent.

Next step if your score is below 18

Use the checklist to find the broken layer, then fix that bottleneck before adding more pages, tools, or campaigns.
