# llms.txt review checklist

Method version: 6 October 2026. This is a manual review aid, not a required SEO standard.

1. Name the consuming reader or tool and the task. Record defer, maintain or implement.
2. Keep the exact file text, URL, capture date, response status and evidence reference.
3. Compare the current proposal with your implementation. Distinguish required structure, optional conventions and unassessed syntax.
4. Inspect selected destination URLs and redirects yourself. A pasted URL is not a live check.
5. Compare important source and file passages, including limitations, table relationships and code.
6. Record match, difference, not assessed or unreviewed with a reviewer and next action. A confirmation is the reader's assessment.
7. Name a maintainer and a refresh trigger. Keep unfinished records.
8. Keep file correctness, observed use, citations, visits and business outcomes separate.

Local text checks and reader assessments only. No network requests, live HTTP checks, freshness verification, Markdown certification, provider-use test or search-effect measurement. All unfinished rows retained.

Working notes in the website tool are not stored or transmitted. Download before leaving. CSV may prefix formula-like cells with an apostrophe to prevent spreadsheet execution. JSON retains exact input.
